|S. GURLOVELEEN SINGH SIDHU TAKE CHARGE AS DEPUTY COMMISSIONER GURDASPUR
SPEEDY RESOLUTION OF PUBLIC GRIEVANCES AND TIMELY EXECUTION OF DEVLOPMENT PROJECTS WOULD HIS TOP PRIORITIES
Gurdaspur, S. Gurloveleen singh sidhu , a 2006 batch IAS officer, take charge as new Deputy Commissioner of Gurdaspu today. He replaces 2008 batch IAS officer sh Amit kumar , who has now been posted as Municipal corporation Commissioner, Amritsar. On the occasion mother of deputy commissioner smt. Satwant Kaur sidhu retired principal was also present. After assuming charge as the Deputy Commissioner today, Deputy Commissioner sidhu said timely and speedy resolution of public grievances and timely execution of development projects would his top priorities . He said the administration would redress the grievances and attend to problems being faced by border residents so that these could be redressed timely. He said he would put in efforts to take the district to new heights of development, growth and success. He also sought cooperation and support from all sections of society as well as elected representatives for scripting new chapters of development. He said he would assess the problems being faced by the district and the residents and try to find a solution and work for overall development of the district. He also held a meeting with officers of various departments at rest house after taking guard of honour. Deputy Commissioner Sidhu served as the DC in kapurthalla and Barnala. He was posted as the municipal corporation commissioner, Amritsar, before he was transferred. On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mr. Sakattar Singh Bal, SDM Batala Mr. Rohit Gupta, Assistant Commissioner (Greivances) Mr. Amit Gupta and officers from various departments were also present.
